The Last Shift brings together years of photographs from a single space, installed edge-to-edge as a dense, fragmented panorama. By juxtaposing close crops with wider interior views, the installation mirrors the sensory disorientation of being inside the room—its low ceilings, late-night regulars, pool tables, and fleeting gestures. Rather than treating the photographs as neutral records, the work explores how a medium rooted in recording the real can move beyond simple description to make the psychological, temporal, and spatial experience of a place felt in its absence.
